neatly forming over the past year, little pieces marries all aspects of the irishman s diverse, accomplished sound, progressing from the elegant piano foray fortune favours to amen strewn tech stepper dying breed , filling all the gaps in between.
collaborations with beta 2 & villem are backed by vocal features from drs, stamina and steo, whose lyrics provided the album s core inspiration on the stunning title track, supported by friction (on bbc radio 1) and dj hype (kiss fm). following his acclaimed 2015 album golden section, zero t continues his thematic, visual imagery, the album artwork reflecting the mosaic of his influences from over the years, carefully reconstructed into a cohesive body of work.

moscow based multi-talent impish has been steadily honing his skills working through labels such as program, c.i.a. and his own fast rising occulti music imprint. it�s that last label that saw him release the critically acclaimed �silence� lp back in 2016. fast forward to the autumn of 2017 and a new album project the �hush� lp is set for release through all quality physical electronic music outlets around the world. being the perfectionist that he is, impish continues to impress working on crystal clear music productions where impeccable drum work is combined with organic touches and progressions.
the second �hush� lp sampler features three cuts of the album. first up the well respected irish drum & bass producer zero t takes up remix duties for �solid�, turning the stripped back original stepper into a wavey hard hitter with the remixer�s sound plastered all over. continuing with �let me� featuring uk based vocalist kate wild things heat up quickly where soaring bass sounds complimented by soulful vocals and tech-like stabs make for an intense drum & bass experience. last but not least we find the original mix for �solid� featuring fellow moscow based vocalist julia marks. it�s an easy listening, thoughtful piece of drum & bass with driving beats for the dance floor but harmonies for the mind and soul.

citrus recordings present the fugitive ep by zero t and mindmapper & silvahfonk. dancefloor sounds with class made by producers you should keep an eye out for. fresh of his sophomore album on dispatch recordings, zero t continues to impress with impeccable skill and style when it comes to producing drum & bass. *the funnel* is based around deep stabs and raging mid bass sounds over powerfull rolling beats. signature zero t sounds right here. on the flip an exciting duo takes over with a track called *the fugitive*. dutch drum & bass frontrunners mindmapper & silvahfonk manage to deliver a techno infused stepper with plenty of weight to keep the dancefloor going. essential.

episode two on touched by records sees the introduction of yet another talented youngster understate with his track >technology< backed with a remix from d&bs top-boy zero tolerance! yet another great record from this up and coming drum & bass label.

zt and his kiwi buddy get a bit rowdy this time, with a heavy inspration from the early virus sound of 1998-99. >shallow grave< sneaks in a kicks you in the gut and pounds you like giant haystacks! as the vocal sample states: >i roam when its dark, and take you to some secret place and bury you< indeed! mr.t decided to keep it in the family, irish-style, for the 1st two 12 inches. so after old cohort calibre provided the 1st flip side, next up is zeros original colaborative partner beta 2. its now 10 years since the pair debuted on 4 heros reinforced, and a long awaited return to the game from beta 2 looms large! cabin phever is classic blue note buisness, for those that know! beta tickles the ivories with aplom, plucks the double bass and chops a break in a style remeniscent of that ginger ninja, rupert parkes (aka photek).. two words: film-noir.
